India’s Apeejay Shipping has raided the secondhand market to acquire another gearless panamax bulk carrier, it has confirmed.
The Kolkata-based shipowner said the unnamed Japanese-built 76,602-dwt vessel had been renamed the APJ ANGAD 2.
Apeejay did not disclose the identity of the seller of the 2001-built vessel released.
