Ridgebury Tankers boss Bob Burke says the company’s latest VLCC project allows investors to dodge the liquidity trap associated with many shipping investments while offering exposure to the volatile big tanker market.
Ridgebury has just bought the 299,000-dwt DHT Utah and DHT Utik (both built 2001) and the 309,000-dwt DHT Eagle (built 2002) from DHT Holdings and the 2001 built 298,000-dwt Artois from Euronav.
