Norwegian shipowner IM Skaugen (IMS) has revealed it is claiming up to $20m in Norway from MAN Diesel & Turbo in a row over engine performance.
It said the supreme court has decided that IMS can proceed with a legal action relating to six of eight medium-speed diesel engines bought between 1999 and 2006.
The case is expected to proceed before the Oslo courts this coming year, it added.
