Iraq is emerging as a potential new major exporter of LPG in what represents an enormous shift in Iraq’s energy markets.
Just one year ago the country faced acute LPG shortages forcing it to spend millions of dollars in imports in order to meet local demand.
Iraq exported its first LPG cargo last July, after becoming self-sufficient in LPG with a production at 5,000t per day.
