New Vision Shipping of Greece is said to have sold one of its three vessels.
London brokerage sources say the company has sold the 53,000-dwt bulker New Era (built 2003) to the Akij Group of Bangladesh for $9.7m.
The price for the Iwagi Zosen-built ship is slightly higher than expected, although brokers described it as a "steady" level.
