Petros Pappas-led Star Bulk Carriers is being tipped as the buyer of a capesize bulker sold by a Japanese owner this week.
Brokers say the New York-listed company has snapped up the 176,300-dwt Cape Triumph (built 2004).
A price of between $14m and $14.5m is being placed on the Universal-built ship, which is listed in the fleet of Osaka Asahi Kaiun.
