Gener8 Maritime is believed to be selling a seven-year-old VLCC at a time when tanker sale and purchase activity appears to be rising.
New York-listed Gener8 is expected to part with the 318,300 Gener8 Zeus (built 2010) after a number of potential buyers expressed an interest in the ship.
