Norway’s Klaveness Combination Carriers (KCC) is pulling back from the US as a precaution ahead of potential extra port fees being imposed on Chinese-built ships.
The Oslo-listed owner of vessels that carry both wet and dry cargoes said: “It is uncertain how the proposed US tariffs, including the US Trade Representative’s (USTR) proposed port fees, and potential retaliatory tariffs will impact KCC’s business.”
