A neglected segment of the chemical tanker fleet is ageing quickly, with few replacements in sight, shipbroker SSY said.
There are 3,200 vessels in chemical trades, with an average age of 14.3 years, the London shop calculated.
But there is a great diversity among these ships, it added.
