International Maritime Organization secretary general Arsenio Dominguez has doubled down on his commitment to diversity in shipping, saying the regulator would not be swayed by changing opinions in the US.
Addressing Wista’s UK gala dinner to celebrate women in shipping, guest speaker Dominguez reiterated his hopes that the next secretary general of the IMO would “finally be a woman” and vowed the regulator would continue to support diversity.
