Golar LNG has confirmed the sale of the 140,600-cbm steamship Golar Arctic (built 2003) for $24m, marking its exit from LNG shipping.
The owner, which is now focused on floating LNG production, said it has executed agreements to sell the vessel, which it described as “unencumbered”.
The transaction is expected to be completed this quarter.
