Gener8 Maritime is selling its oldest VLCC, tanker market sources say.
New York-listed Gener8 is believed to have offloaded the 305,800-dwt Gener8 Poseidon (built 2002).
A price of $22.5m is being placed on the DSME built tanker, which has been the subject of persistent sales talk throughout 2017.
Brokers describe the price as strong and suggest an Indian buyer has taken the tanker.
