Just six months after entering the tanker market, Athens-based bulker player OceanPal has exited the capesize sector.
The company confirmed on Tuesday it had sold the 171,800-dwt, Daewoo-built Salt Lake City (built 2005) for $16.1m. It will be delivered to a third party by 20 February.
Brokers had reported on Monday that Chinese interests had bought the ship.
