VLCCs have continued to climb amid a flurry of fixtures in the aftermath of a renewed US sanctions campaign.
Jefferies said on Tuesday that non-eco VLCC rates jumped just over 50% to $34,400 per day.
Eco vessels and scrubber-fitted, eco-designed vessels rose by more than one-third to $42,300 per day and $44,500 per day respectively.
