The US has unveiled a massive package of sanctions against Russian-trading ships — as well as oil companies, insurers and traders — in its boldest bid yet to strangle the Putin regime’s main source of income.
A statement from the US Treasury Department on Friday reveals 183 more tankers, LNG carriers and other ships have been designated, together with oil companies Gazprom Neft and Surgutneftegas.
