Singapore-listed shipbuilder Cosco Shipping International has confirmed Aegean Shipping Management's debut bulker order.
It said its Cosco Zhoushan yard will deliver four firm 82,000-dwt vessels from the third quarter of 2019 and into the second half of 2020.
There are two separate options for another quartet of ships in total.
The price is being kept confidential.
TradeWinds reported earlier this month that Aegean had swept into the dry cargo market with a potential eight-ship newbuilding order.
