BP is teaming up with Japanese LNG trader JERA to create one of the world’s biggest offshore wind operations.
The major vessel charterers said they are merging their wind businesses to form JERA Nex BP, a 50/50-owned stand-alone operation.
The new entity will have a “balanced mix” of operating assets and development projects with a total 13 GW potential net generating capacity.
