Shipping lender Sparebank 1 reports solid profit after completing merger with sister bank

New Norwegian shipping lender Sparebank 1 Sor-Norge has reported solid results for the third quarter.

The bank was formed from the merger on 1 October of SpareBank 1 SR-Bank and SpareBank 1 Sorost-Norge, making it the second-biggest Norwegian lender behind DNB.
