A panamax tanker is heading across the Caribbean with a cargo of Mexican oil aimed at combating Cuba’s acute energy crisis.
Reuters reported the 61,300-dwt, Cuba-flagged Vilma (built 2005) is carting 400,000 barrels loaded at Pajaritos port.
AIS data showed the ship heading east towards Cuba on Tuesday, but listing its destination as “for orders”.
