Middle East crude producers have been preparing for potential Iranian shipping disruption by adding alternative export routes, says BRS Group.
But there will be no other way out for refined products if the key Strait of Hormuz is closed.
In its latest weekly report, the shipbroker says the Middle East situation is “extremely fluid”, with tensions having rarely been so high following Israeli attacks on Lebanon and retaliation from Iran.
