Month-long fires on Greek tanker attacked by Houthis in Red Sea finally put out

Some fires on a laden oil tanker hit repeatedly by Houthi rebels have been put out more than a month after the original attacks.

An operation involving a team of international experts has brought “promising results”, with some of the remaining multiple blazes on the 163,800-dwt Sounion (built 2006) under control, said the weekly update from the Join Maritime Information Center (JMIC).
