Peninsula founder and chief executive John Bassadone has confirmed that his new private shipowning venture, Hercules Tanker Management, is the company behind a newbuilding order for 18,000-cbm LNG bunker vessels at HD Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.
The new LNGBVs are expected to be delivered during 2027, and the agreement provides an option to construct a second LNG supply vessel.
