Cool Company (CoolCo) is considering fixing its first delivering LNG carrier newbuilding out on a short-term basis to take advantage of expected stronger winter charter rates while it competes for long-term business on the vessel.
Chief executive Richard Tyrrell said CoolCo’s first LNG newbuilding — the 174,000-cbm Kool Tiger — is on schedule to be delivered at the end of October.
