Oil producer Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) has completed its first exports of LNG on chartered vessels as a precursor to amassing its own fleet.
The move was “in line with its strategic vision to be a dynamic and reliable global energy supplier of choice”, NNPC said.
Two shipments have gone to Japan and China in recent weeks.
