Arne Blystad-led Songa Bulk is entering one of its two capesize bulkers into the Capesize Chartering Ltd (CCL).
The ship entering the system is the 179,000-dwt Songa Mountain (built 2009), while the other capesize, the 180,000-dwwt Songa Opus (built 2010) is on a six to nine months period charter.
After having hovering around $18,000 per day for capesizes, the market took off this week and stood at $20,700 per day Wednesday.
