New Fortress Energy has finally exported a first cargo from its offshore “Fast LNG” unit off Altamira in Mexico, more than a year later than planned.
The US-listed company said late on Monday that its first cargo has been loaded and has sailed from its project.
The shipment was loaded onto the 138,000-cbm Energos Princess (built 2003) and will be delivered to the company’s La Paz terminal in Mexico.
