Trafigura Group has bought Norwegian owner Gearbulk Holding’s 50% share in their joint venture company High Heat Tankers (HHT).
The price for the Singapore-based asphalt and bitumen tanker pool was not disclosed.
The commodities and shipowning giant has also ordered a 17,500-dwt IMO II specialised high heat tanker for HHT, to be delivered in the third quarter of 2026 from Chengxi Shipyard in China.
