Sixteen seafarers are missing after a product tanker capsized, Oman’s Maritime Security Centre says.
The 7,056-dwt Prestige Falcon (built 2007) was reported on Monday to have capsized 25 nautical miles (46 km) south-east of Ras Madrakah, Oman.
The centre said search and rescue operations were continuing on Tuesday for the 13 Indian nationals and three Sri Lankans on board the United Arab Emirates-owned and operated vessel.
