Shipowners are awaiting more tanker deals from the UK after Swiss trader Gunvor booked two tankers to take North Sea Forties crude to Asia.
Gunvor subsidiary Clearlake Shipping fixed South Korean owner SK Shipping’s 314,000-dwt C Spirit (built 2013) to load at Hound Point in Scotland, where the ship docked on Sunday, according to AIS data.
Nordic American Tankers’ 157,000-dwt suezmax Nordic Tellus (built 2018) has also been fixed by Gunvor and arrived at Hound Point on Sunday.
