Greece’s Diana Shipping has landed a pay rise for one of its newcastlemax bulkers chartered to Japanese giant NYK.
The New York-listed owner said the 206,104-dwt Los Angeles (built 2012) has been fixed at $28,700 per day from July until either October or December next year.
The deal is a continuation of an existing term charter to NYK at $17,700 per day.
