Danish owner Monjasa has deployed the first-ever bunker tanker to store fuel at the Panama Canal.
The supplier has shifted the Panama-flagged, 20,000-dwt Monjasa Thunder (built 2009) from West Africa.
Monjasa said the 150-metre ship is the largest and most technically advanced on the waterway.
