Greece’s Euroseas has clinched a charter deal for its second newbuilding container ship at a better rate than its first attained.
The Nasdaq-listed owner said the 1,800-teu Pepi Star will earn $24,250 per day for between 23 and 25 months on delivery from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea next month.
The Athens-based company had announced a deal for the sister ship Stephania K just a week ago at $22,000 per day for the same term.
