Norway’s Hagland Shipping has signed up for four new short-sea bulk carriers prepared for methanol power.
The 5,000-dwt self-discharging vessels will be built at Dutch shipyard Royal Bodewes.
The owner, controlled by the Aanensen family, emphasised that the bulkers will have zero emissions in port and will substantially reduce emissions at sea.
