Thailand has slashed the amount of crude it is importing on tankers from the Middle East amid increasing freight and insurance costs.
The country shipped in 57,205 barrels per day from Saudi Arabia in April, down 66.1% from a year earlier, government figures show.
But imports from the US rose 33.6%
