The US has blacklisted a United Arab Emirates-based tanker owner and 18 ships for alleged breaches of the Russian oil price cap.

The US Treasury identified Hennesea Holdings as the ultimate owner of 18 vessels including the 114,896-dwt HS Atlantica (built 2006) that it sanctioned in December.
