Singapore offshore shipowner Kim Heng said on Thursday it had sacked a manager at a subsidiary on suspicion of corrupt dealings.
The company discovered and investigated “anomalies” relating to purchases and payments in suspicious inflated transactions, as well as misappropriation of fixed assets.
The deals were allegedly carried out by an unnamed general manager of Kim Heng unit Zale Offshore between September 2020 and November 2023.
