Norwegian start-up Azane Fuel Solutions is developing a new zero-emissions ammonia bunkering ship in partnership with US power company Amogy.
This will complement Azane’s existing work on constructing 15 ammonia bunkering terminals for Scandinavia.
The two sides are exploring the technical and commercial feasibility of using Amogy’s ammonia-to-power system on board the new vessels.
