Building a clean shipping fuel network from scratch by 2050 comes with a $2.1trn price tag, according to a new report by the World Economic Forum.
The bulk of the costs will be for producing hydrogen-based clean fuels, while bunkering, carbon capture and transport costs contribute about one-tenth of the costs.
