European Union member states are taking sanctions evasion very seriously, with a “considerable uptick” of criminal cases expected, according to the bloc’s sanctions envoy.
David O’Sullivan told a UK think-tank that prosecutors were “very active”, with many working on a lot of ongoing Russia-linked investigations.
