Greece’s Aegean Shipping Management has returned to its favoured Chinese shipyard to order its first ice-class product tanker newbuildings.
The George Melissanidis-led company disclosed that it has ordered two 114,000-dwt LR2s at Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry (Cosco HI Yangzhou).
Aegean said this is the first time it has contracted the ship type.
