The costs of hauling Russian oil increased after the US imposed its first sanctions for breaches of the G7 price cap aimed at hitting Kremlin revenues, the IEA said on Tuesday.
Freight costs increased by 35% on the Baltic to the west coast of India route during October to reach more than $10 per barrel, the agency said in its monthly oil report.
