TechnipFMC beats Subsea 7 to $250m Canada work

TechnipFMC has this week won the integrated tie-back contract with Husky Energy at the West White Rose Project off eastern Canada.

Both TechnipFMC and Oslo-listed Subsea 7 had been pre-qualified as bidders on the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) work.

TechnipFMC, which is listed on the New York and Euronext Paris stock exchanges, will supply and then install the manifolds, flowlines and umbilicals to connect the new West White Rose platform to the 272-metre SeaRose (built 2004).
