Russia is looking to China for help on a shipbuilding “mega-project” with a new joint yard on the cards, according to one of the country’s most senior bankers.
Andrey Kostin, the CEO of Russia’s VTB Bank and chairman of state-owned United Shipbuilding Corp, said Russia needed to cooperate with the world’s biggest shipbuilder as it faces a tonnage shortage because of Western sanctions.
