Singapore’s Hafnia has added a Norwegian-owned MR tanker to its fleet as modern vessels continue to turn huge profits for owners.
Brokers said TRF Ship Management has offloaded the 49,000-dwt Vietnamese-built TRF Bergen (built 2015) for $37m, in line with independent valuations.
One European broker identified Oslo-listed BW Group company Hafnia as the buyer.
