JP Morgan has signed its first order for methanol-fuelled tankers.
A statement from its Global Transportation Group on Thursday confirmed a deal for two 49,800-dwt MR newbuildings first reported by TradeWinds at the end of August.
The bank said institutional investors advised by the transport group have signed a deal for the dual-fuel ships at Guangzhou Shipyard International.
