Underwriters in London are actively quoting on war risk cover for ships heading to Ukraine’s Black Sea deepsea ports to load grain.
The high-risk trade, which is bound to rile Russia, has been picking up following the safe passage of an increasing number of vessels to the ports of Chornomorsk and Odesa.
In a media briefing on Wednesday, a Ukrainian navy spokesman said the Ukrainian grain trade is active.
