Gail (India) heralds first LNG cargo STS in move to optimise its shipping

Indian importer is keen to repeat exercise to save cash, shipping time and CO2 emissions

The cargo on the 173,673-cbm LNG carrier Castillo de Santisteban (built 2010) was transferred into the 216,224-cbm Al Gharrafa (built 2008) in an operation off Gibraltar enabled by STS Marine Solutions.
