The ageing crude tanker fleet and a lack of new orders mean oil majors will have to relax their vetting requirements at some point, Frontline chief executive Lars Barstad believes.
Barstad told a conference call with analysts: “As we proceed here, I think there is a scenario where ships will have to actually service the market for a longer period of time.”
