A grouping of Australian and Japanese partners have hooked up to study the technical feasibility of shipping large volumes of CO2 at low temperatures and pressures.
The LP Technology R&D Project involves Japanese shipowner Mitsui OSK Lines, Future Energy Exports CRC (FEnEx CRC), JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corp, Low Emission Technology Australia (LETA) and compatriot utility Osaka Gas Co.
