Diana Shipping missed analyst expectations for the second quarter thanks to a less robust dry bulk market, but the New York-listed owner still kept its bottom line in the black.
The owner of 42 bulkers posted $10.4m in net income for the three-month period, compared to $35.6m in net income for the same period last year.
Net income attributable to shareholders was $8.9m
